National Rankings – October 2023

by Lachlan Williams on November 8, 2023

A Tasmanian has shot to the top of the men’s standings while a Victorian remains atop in the women’s following October’s National Rankings Update.

Cassandra Millerick still leads the way in the women’s field with a 36-point buffer over Ellen Falkner, with the 2022/23 bowler of the year continuing her hold on top spot.

Newly promoted Right at Home Emerging Jackaroo Samantha Atkinson sits 18 points behind Falkner in third, with Jackaroo Natasha Van Eldik remaining in fourth place and Moama’s Olivia Cartwright rounding out the top five.

The men’s field saw several changes, most notably Tasmania’s Josh Walker-Davis taking top spot.

Walker-Davis leapfrogged NSW’s Corey Wedlock whose stranglehold on the standings has eased, falling to second place.

Jacob Nelson accumulated a massive 70 points in October to jump Aron Sherriff and move into third.

Australian Champion of Champions victor Lee Schraner also enjoyed a big points boost, making his way into the top five.
