Australian Jackaroo Natasha Scott is preparing for the World Champion of Champion Singles as reported by the Port Stephens Examiner. As far as team players go Natasha Scott is up there with the best of the best reports the Port Stephens Examiner.

The Raymond Terrace bowler has international medals in every colour to her name in pairs, triples and fours. But she hopes to clinch what’s arguably the most coveted singles title going around – a singles World Champion of Champions (November 14-20).

Scott would be just the third Aussie to do so after Karen Murphy and Kelsey Cottrell.

“To hold that would be unbelievable… it’s on my bowls bucket-list for sure,” she said.

Scott has qualified for the Gold Coast-hosted event with a dream run, from club to state and national wins. She made history as Australia’s first to hold all three titles.

To top it off, she’s again been named national women’s bowler of the year.

“I’d like to consider myself a real chance,” she said.

The World Champion of Champion event is only the start of what will be a busy two months in bowls for Scott.

Team duties remain high on her priority list with the 2016 World Bowls Championships starting at Christchurch on November 26.

The Australian women hold the record for team’s result at the Worlds with gold medals all round.

“I’d like to think we can replicate what we achieved in Adelaide,” Scott said.

“Australia is in with a very good chance at the Worlds.”
