How old were you and why did you first take up bowls:
Nine years old. Used to watch my Nan (Val) play during the school holidays. I thought it looked easy so I had a crack!
First tournament victory:
An Easter Pairs or Triples Carnival at my old home club Kyneton.
Toughest Singles opponent:
Jo Edwards, one player I have not yet beaten. A draw in last years’ Trans Tasman was my best effort.
Who has had the most influence on your career:
My Mum and Nan. They have been there right from the start and have always believed in me and supported me no matter what.
Favourite bowler while growing up:
When I first started as a junior, I looked up to Sam Shannahan and Claire Turley.
Funniest Jackaroo teammate:
Kristina Krstic, there is never a dull moment with Krissy around the team!

I am quite proud to have kept up my education since leaving school. I completed a Real Estate Agents Rep course two years ago and now I am almost finished in an online Digital Marketing course.
Most embarrassing childhood memory:
I can’t really remember one specific one. My friends used to call me Hagrid from Harry Potter because of my hair.
