Update: Hong Kong International Classic
As a result of the ongoing political unrest in Hong Kong, the annual International Classic event has unfortunately been cancelled by the organisers.
The Hong Kong Lawn Bowlers Association (HKLBA) regrettably made the decision in recent days, citing safety concerns for players, officials and supporters following four months of the largest protests in the city’s history.
Genevieve Delves, Bolivia Millerick, Jayden Christie, Carl Healey and coach Therese Hastings were due to make their way to the event to compete in both the Singles and Pairs disciplines from November 9-17.
The HKLBA hopes to reignite the event in 2020.
