2019 Junior & Golden Nugget: Jackaroos aplenty across impressive fields
This weekend marks the start of a jam-packed period in the national bowls calendar, with two high-profile annual events in the Junior and Golden Nugget to get underway from the Tweed Heads Bowls Club, NSW.
The two invitational events will each respectively feature the ‘best of the best’ junior and open singles players from Australia and around the world, serving as an entree for the Australian Indoor Championships held at the same venue from August 26-29.
Beginning Saturday through to Sunday (August 3-4), the Junior Nugget will be immediately followed by the Golden Nugget, which commences from Monday and runs through to Thursday (August 5-8).
A host of BCiB Australian and Emerging Jackaroos are littered across both events, with Kira Bourke, Jarryd Davies and Jake Rynne to contest the Junior Nugget, while a host of experienced Jackaroos will compete in the Golden Nugget as indicated in the field lists below.
