Bowls Australia gears up for annual Awards Night
The 2018 annual Awards Night and Gala Dinner is upon the Australian bowls community, set to be held this Thursday night on the sunny Gold Coast at Mantra on View.
Finalists for 11 awards have already been unveiled (see below), with the winners set to be crowned on the night.
Also to be recognised are the Male and Female Bowlers of the Year, secured by David Ferguson and Natasha Scott respectively by virtue of winning the sport’s National Player Rankings for 2017/18, decided at the end of June.
The full contingent of BCiB Australian Jackaroos that secured five gold and two silver medals at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games will too be honoured in a special presentation.
Bowls Australia (BA) congratulates all award finalists, acknowledges the work of the selection committees and thanks the public for all nominations.
