#BPL10: Two debut teams qualify for finals

Two teams will play in the BPL10 finals in their debut campaign as sectional play came to a conclusion at Club Pine Rivers on Friday afternoon.

Despite losing their first two games of the competition, BPL debutants Tweed Heads Ospreys topped the standings after 14 rounds of play,  with 10 wins and four losses to their name.

Perennial contenders Sydney Lions were just one win back in second with an impressive shot difference of 51.

Perth Suns were level on points with the Lions, also winning nine games, but finishing in third with worse net set points.

Melbourne Pulse joined the Ospreys as another new club to play finals, dominating their final two matches of group play to go into the finals in great form.

The Pioneers, Steamers and Pirates all finished on six wins after inconsistent performances across the competition, while the Roys managed just three wins.

The finals will be broadcast live on Fox Sports, Kayo Sports & Sky Sport NZ from 6pm AEDT.

The Pulse and Suns will compete in an elimination final, before the Ospreys and Lions fight it out for a spot in the grand final.
