by Aidan Davis on November 14, 2022

An exciting opportunity is now available for a suitable candidate to help shape the nation’s high-performance success on the world stage.

Bowls Australia (BA) is seeking expressions of interest for the Chair of the National Selection Panel.

The National Selectors play a critical role in selecting the high-performance squads, the Right at HomeAustralian Jackaroos, Emerging Jackaroos, Para Jackaroos, Over-60s Jackaroos and Pathways squads, as well as the selection of athletes for international competition.

The Chair of Selectors (non-voting) will have relevant experience in High Performance programs and ideally extensive state and international competition experience.

To perform this role, the selected individual cannot be a current member of a State or Territory Association Selection Panel, must follow selection guidelines and criteria as outlined in the National Team Selection Policy below and all other relevant Bowls Australia policies and documents.

The successful applicant will be provided an iPad for communication and game statistics purposes and will receive a base honorarium with all expenses incurred in relation to the duties performed as a National Selector covered by BA.

The term of the appointment is from Wednesday, January 1, 2023, until no later than Thursday, January 1, 2026.
