Jackaroos off to a flyer in Moama Pairs, set for Ettalong Fours

The BCiB Australian Jackaroo pairing of Ellen Ryan & Kristina Krstic have enjoyed a promising start on the opening day of the prestigious Moama Ladies Premier Pairs Classic, while a contingent of new and established Jackaroos are set to do battle at the Ettalong Prestige Fours.

Ryan and Krstic won both their matches on Day 1 with a positive shot difference of 19, defeating the combinations of Linda Warburton & Lisa Featherby and Terry Thompson & Mary-Ann Spizer.

The field is littered with both local and international talent at Moama, with the likes of Emma Firyana Saroji & Siti Zalina Ahmad (Malaysia) and Val Smith & Jo Edwards (NZ) among some of the recognised international names.

Meanwhile, Jackaroos stalwarts Aaron Wilson, Ben Twist and Jesse Noronha will lead the eight-strong team at the Ettalong Prestige Fours, beginning today.

The four will lead an Emerging quartet of Jake Rynne, Carl Healey, Jarryd Davies, Jayden Christie and Josh Studham.
