National Rankings – January 2022
There has been no change at the helm of the National Player Rankings in either the men’s or women’s sections after the first month of 2022.
New South Wales’ Corey Wedlock has extended his lead at the top following a number of solid results in January, with Victorian Colin Veenendaal 145 points behind in second.
Queensland’s Nick Cahill has improved his ranking from fifth to third after January, while Ireland’s Gary Kelly has stormed into fourth place from 17th at the end of December.
Western Australian Blake Nairn rounds out the top quintet, dropping two spots from last month’s update.
In the women’s rankings, Jackaroo Dawn Hayman has topped the mountain for the ninth consecutive month, with her uninterrupted run starting back at the end of May 2021.
Natasha Van Eldik remains in second place at 15 points adrift, while Colleen Orr has maintained her hold on third.
Western Australian Lisa Featherby has jumped from 12th to fourth in the standings, while the Northern Territory’s Sez James has moved into fifth.

The National Rankings System operates on a yearly rolling-points system, where all points accrued are retained for a 12-month period and are then discounted. Players can accrue ranking points from all national events, State Championships, State Champion of Champion and selected club events.
