Australian Jackaroo and South Australian stalwart Wayne Ruediger has launched his Academy to a raging success at home club Grange. Australian Jackaroo and South Australian stalwart Wayne Ruediger has launched his Academy to a raging success at home club Grange.

Created in a bid to develop bowlers of all abilities, the free-of-charge program was held over the weekend of August 25/26 and included a visit from local MP, Corey Wingard.

The Academy and club received glowing praise from its participants, including these quotes from participant Tom Kelsey:

“As a participant over the past weekend, I want to place on record my sincere thanks and gratitude to your club for hosting the Wayne Ruediger Academy,” he said.

“While Wayne must be congratulated for modestly and voluntarily sharing his vast knowledge, skills, and experience as an International bowler with the participants, applauds must also be extended to the club and the other group of individuals who also volunteered.

Happy to declare I’m a @BowlsSouthAus fan. Well done to the Grange club and Wayne Ruediger for setting their coaching academy this weekend. #ineedmorelessons pic.twitter.com/491REgjjdY

“I, together with many other bowlers, left humbled by the experience having learned so much within the timeframe allowed.”

Ruediger is a decorated Australian and state representative having competed for the Jackaroos since 2012 at events including Commonwealth Games, World Championships and Asia Pacific Championships, collecting lots of silverware (and gold) along the way.
